Ever wonder what the auroras really are? Biblical cosmology holds the answer.

Post Body

A while back, I was asked by a friend of mine what I thought the auroras were. I said I didn’t know. He then directed me to a verse in Revelation that spoke of an emerald rainbow around the Father’s throne (Rev 4:3). I was instantly floored. It was a beautiful revelation and connection.

Basically, we believe that the emerald rainbow around His throne shines down through the waters of the second heaven (the waters above) and then shines through [and is refracted by] the firmament, making that emerald rainbow visible to all of us.

This friend and myself then had a back and forth of how the auroras were visible in both the extreme north and the extreme south, which we both agreed was due to the original [northern] shining [of that emerald rainbow] being refracted and projected outward towards the edge of the world/dome, off in Antarctica.
