Not saying I’ve met any here by this point, but there can be some watchers among the believers who may be fooled into thinking that they either can or should stop any of the governing forces of wickedness in this world.

No, it is not our job to try and rock the ship (assuming the rocking could save it). The ship is going to sink, period. It’s not our job to try and commandeer the ship to try and save it. Our job is simply to point people to the lifeboats that are still stationed along the sides of the ship, like so. Though they will suddenly and simultaneously drop one day.

Now, the captain of the ship has been very successful in convincing people that the lifeboats not only won’t be needed, but are an outright joke, an eyesore. Not just that, but he convinces almost all of the people that this ‘party boat’ is never gonna crash. Even worse, he’s hypnotized many people into not even realizing that they even live on a ship to begin with and that there even is a captain, much less are they aware that there are even things such as lifeboats to need to get on.

So, how do you get someone to board a lifeboat when they don’t even know that they are living on a doomed-to-sink ship? This is where the individual experience of each watcher comes in..

Watchers are akin to shepherds of the Father’s flock(s). In order to know how to shepherd even the most-fooled of sheep, we must first know what it’s like to be one of the most-fooled among the sheep. You can only show someone how to climb out of a hole that you yourself have already figured out how to climb out of.

So, guide those that you’re able [to the lifeboats], as much as you’re able. Leave the more difficult sheep for the more learned shepherds. But also know: not all will be saved, no no. In fact, very few will be. So when you go to give out pearls, give to those who show an understanding of the value of a pearl instead of wasting time on those who don’t. Be a proper judge of character. There is but precious little time, and there are too many souls to save to be wasting any time tossing away the pearls to be trampled on.

Remember: this ship is foretold to crash, so don’t bother trying to save it. Don’t make it worse of course, by any means. Make it livable, as you’re able; but don’t invest structural efforts into a condemned house. “Patching holes” ain’t gonna work for this ship.

So don’t save the ship; save the people on it. Point them to the lifeboats, all of which will suddenly and simultaneously drop one day. After that point, martyrdom will be the only hope for people, and not many will choose it.

Be watchers, not fools.
