Struggling with unequal attraction / comp het

Post Body

I recently broke up with a guy I dated for a few months - we fell hard for each other emotionally but I was unsure of my sexual attraction towards him.
I do have a very strong sexual attraction towards women, but romantically I've always found men much more attractive and have tried to date women in the past but never really got anywhere.

I am trying to feel my way to knowing if I'm bi with a split attraction, or actually gay and experiencing comphet...
I do get turned on by some guys but mostly more feminine looking ones, otherwise my attraction is much more about the intellectual/emotional connection.

It's really hard feeling so much love for someone but not knowing if it was right. I would honestly love to get back with him if I felt it could work, but I don't want to hurt him/me all over again!

Anyone else with a similar experience/ attraction type out there have any thoughts/advice?
