Hey ladies,
Idk if some of y'all are part of the "kink scene" or have a profile on Fetlife, but here I go. I basically stopped browsing OkCupid because I was ALWAYS bothered by couples wanting a 3some, even though I stated in my bio "no unicorn hunters". I grew a bit sick of my bisexuality being constantly fetishised. Oh boy, was I in for a surprise while creating a new fetlife account.
(If I'm honest, the only place I feel "normal" and not overly sexualized on the internet because I happen to like more than 1 gender is some subreddits)
I'm mostly a lurker on fetlife. I post very soft pictures (not nudes) and my erotica. To my surprise, I quickly gained a quite big following, even though I used to not have one on my old profile. But today, even though I've been talking/receiving a lot of positive feedback on my writings, I decided to back off from Fetlife, because the casual fetishisation of bisexual women, the way wlw is treated like it's some trendy "accessory" to a relationship with a master, and that OF COURSE every sub is bisexual, and if they're not they still have to "play" with girls if their master asked, honestly make me wanna puke. Yet again, idk if any of y'all is familiar with kink/BDSM, but damn, dating apps already disappointed me, but this one took a big toll on my mental health. No shade to bi women married to men ofc, but damn it hurts to see that so many ppl unconsciously consider that women's bisexuality is no more than a sexual fetish, and that wlw relationships aren't as"real" as het/het passing relationships. I did receive tons of messages of doms asking me to play with their subs. Admittedly, I didn't receive a lot of women's messages, but when I do it always ends up with "I hope you can soon play with my Master and I", lol, and their messages are so pushy that I'm pretty sure it's their dom writing.
So, I was wondering...
How do you guys conciliate NOT wanting to be fetishized and your interest for kink/BDSM/D/s? Are they inherently incompatible ?
Sorry if this weird rant doesn't make much sense, it's awfully early here. Take care lovelies, hope to read your opinions soon ❤
