How do you discreetly meet local guys?

I’m in Mississippi and I’m going to be honest: it’s pretty dry. Plus I need to be discreet. I’ve tried Doublelist and Adam4Adam - those are okay. Manhunt and Squirt are terrible lol - at least here. I would love to try Grindr as I have this idea that all the fit young guys are there (though I could be wrong). However, my understanding is that even if I were to delete Grindr, there would always be a record that I’ve downloaded it. So, I mainly have to rely on crappy websites haha - are there any ways to meet guys that I’m missing?
