Yesterday, I watched the episode where Dylan stays with the horse-riding Borg Queen (from Star Trek: First Contact). He says that in 1985, he was stealing cars. The episode aired in 1992, so Dylan was a car thief at the age of eleven. This episode is just a few episodes before the one where we also learn that he was involved in illegal drag racing sometime before we knew him.

Also, as a TV watcher (i.e., not as if I was inside the 90210 universe), Luke Perry being so far into his 20's by that point completely neutralized the "he's sleeping with a much older woman" story they were going for. They looked like a totally age-appropriate couple.
