With the potential for an August grandfathering of all things deemed "too dangerous and fun for regular civilians to own", What are people's thoughts on buying rifles in the next few months? Is this ruling something we think will ever be reversed in the higher courts in our lifetimes? Is it worth re-financing my house to buy some things I may never be able to buy in this state again? Should I just pack my bags and head out of town to a state that's a little more welcoming to people of our particular flavor? Really just trying to read the room and see what others are thinking of doing before the end of days.
The MA assault weapons ban only applies to rifles, once it i registered as a SBR its federal classification changes and the rules for "rifles" do not apply. Once a firearm is in the NFA registry pretty much all the rules are out the window. That is what makes the $200 worth it.
