I have a draft with a few revisions behind it but I feel like it needs some outside eyes. I am at 65k in words and more than anything wanted to trim it down a little to a 45k novella, or beef it up to around 80k. In the end, word count is not everything though. A good story is a good story no matter the length.

The story is a retelling of the 1902 movie 'A Trip to the Moon' by Georges Melies, the first science fiction movie ever made. It is the story of a group of scientists traveling to the moon, crashing on its surface, battling against it's savage alien inhabitants, and fighting to make it back home alive.
