Should I just move past or do something about it?

Iā€™m trying to get maybe someone who knows more about the processes opinion. My store is one of the largest in the districts we have Mag/Pac or C&Ds as of last year.

That was just for context, now onto the issue at hand. Recently my GM left the company to start his own and we had a huge sudden shock because he built an amazing culture and with all the changes coming everyday we didnā€™t know if we would ever have as good of a leader as before or culture. Well just days after he leaves we have a ā€œstand in GMā€ heā€™s the kind of GM who gets moved from small band store to the largest band store.

Well surprise surprise, over the last 2 weeks weā€™ve lost over 4 computer associates due to over whelming change being enforced no questions. His way or high way type.

Because all these people left they started forcing the other departments to close the other as a ā€œTeam Closeā€. The whole team thing is just a friendly way of putting every one else make up for people quitting.

The problem is Iā€™m full time so always scheduled 39-39.5 hours consequently each week. So if I stay late at all on any day I will be forced to take extended lunches in the break room so they donā€™t have anyone going overtime.

Well the other night I was scheduled

10:30-7pm

Leaving at 7:08pm my asm and direct manager looked at me and said I canā€™t leave because I have to help close the rest of the store before they will allow me to leave for the day. I said ā€œI am scheduled to leave at 7pm not 7:30pm instead of forcing me to be here 30 minutes early how about you guys actually allocate scheduled time for ā€œTeam Tasksā€ like training. Or closing because if I even get 15 minutes above over time they will write you up. So I have no choice but to take longer lunches but then they complain about me being gone for 45 mins. All of this is so I donā€™t go over.

Well coming in today they said nothing and stayed away from me until about 30 mins ago they pulled me into the back office. Had a paper with about 4 dates I was late over 10 minutes. 3 of which I notified everyone (my girl is due aug 8th with my first) she needs help doing basic things all the time so a few times this month yes I was late over 10 minutes.

Then proceed to write me up for those lates.

This is the first time Iā€™ve ever been written up in the five years that Iā€™ve been here since it was the same managers the next day. The face they had while they were telling me They couldā€™ve done more write ups.

I feel stabbed in the back at this point and feel like this was retaliation but maybe I should just let it go.
