A good ol BBY Rant (Para Ti)

I'm a FT employee as Product flow and I've been with the company since Holiday 2019 started as seasonal then moved to part time and in mid this year I became full time.

I'm the youngest at my store M19 and pretty much the only one that knows how to do everything in the warehouse because the other good full timers left and the rest just don't really care since they've been with best buy for years.

I've never really had a issue, didn't mind the job wasn't bad and coworkers are cool... Always did extra if I could to help out, I learned how to do pick ups and I told them to give me access to registers so I can help with codes 1s...

Now holiday season is here we short staffed as any other store but one of the managers is still really picky with seasonals so instead of hiring any people with experience that apply they get rejected and we struggle just cause of a dumb reason. What's annoying me most is that I'm the closer so some days they say they "messed up" on the schedule and I'm alone for 4 to 6 hours doing picks,carry outs dealing with all the delivery people. It's been happening at least once or twice a week now for the last 2 months..

This also happened recently and I was pretty much done with it cause a day before they had made another Customer service coworker upset to the point where she wanted to quit because management doesn't listen unless it affects them. She would have trouble with customers orders since it needs to be approved by them and she would call mangers by their names a bunch of times(5 or 6 times) or code 4s and no one would respond. Then another time during the same day she would call for the GM by name to see if he was there still and no response... a couple minutes later the GM ask over the radio if she has a radio to call the extension cuz he needs her and nothing to do with her problem..

This is a just a rant about management

Fun fact tho about my store... I'm the youngest and I run the warehouse pretty much And she's the 2nd youngest in the store and she runs the front of store and she helps managers with issues since they don't know how to fix them.

Yeah we're the youngest we worked our asses off to show that even tho we're younger then all them we still work hard... At the end of the day they just take advantage of us somewhat but it's gotten to the point that if they fire us they'll hurt more then it'll hurt us. Just crazy how instead of Appreciating us for all our work they find a way to ruin it by stuff like this.

Anyways that's a pretty good rant I'm happy with this rant but yeah,things need to change and good luck to everyone
