Considering buying a refurbished MacBook from Best Buy

I'm looking to buy a refurbished MacBook. I'm on a budget, but I also want to make sure what I'm getting comes in working order, especially as I won't be able to get a warranty on a refurbished item. What is the quality of refurbished MacBooks at Best Buy like? If I find something that isn't working within a week or so of purchase, will I be able to return it? Thanks.
