How often do stores put up open box Chromebooks for a fraction of MSRP?
Post Body

I bought my parent an open box Chromebook at the beginning of the year. I think I paid $95 ($150 with 3 years accident protection) for a ~$400 Chromebook, only issues was it didn't come with a charger or original box. The specs were pretty impressive - it was the Asus CM3401.

I've been wanting to pick up one for myself but I've not seen too many open box Chromebooks, they're very close to MSRP or aren't the right specs (4gb or a terrible cup.)

The website says there's one model available that's OB that fits what I'm looking for but then on the product page says it's unavailable.

I'm starting to wonder if I just got super lucky with my first OB purchase.

Just curious, if these OB deals are pretty common or just kinda luck/random?
