So I am looking to buy a Surface Pro 9 to replace my Pro 8 that met an untimely demise with a concrete floor. I have a BB Gift Card (from the GS replacement plan) for the value of my old Pro 8.

I want to get the Pro 9 i5 w/ 16GB ram. However, the only way it seems BB sells it is in a bundle with the keyboard. I don't need the keyboard as I have the one that I used with my Pro 8. Is it possible for them to sell me just the Pro 9 device without the keyboard, or could they substitute the keyboard for the Signature Pro keyboard (that has the storage/charger for the pen)? Otherwise, I'm stuck having to buy the i5 with 8GB ram. The i7 version is not really an option for me.

Edit 2: I went ahead and ordered the i5/16GB Pro 9. Will probably just sell the "new" keyboard that comes with it, then put that towards the Signature Pro keyboard. Of course I bought the GSP 3-year so I get to do this all over again if my tablet takes a tumble again.

Edit 3: Ends up it went out of stock. So I cancelled my order and ended up ordering the i7 version for the same price.
