I've said it before and I'll say it again:

This is not the result of "coddling". People think that helicopter parenting caused this, when in reality it is the complete opposite.

These people barely know their parents, and vice versa. Do you think anyone would attentive parents would've turned out like this? Their moral compass is broken, they have trouble thinking outside themselves because they were never properly socialized. They're fundamentally dysfunctional, because they were raised by media instead of parents. That's why they're drawn to the media, that's why they believe the media is infallible.

Do you think that Alison Rapp has to explain to her mother that she got terminated for working at a family friendly game company -and- posing for sexual pictures? Of course not. Just like Wu never has to explain any of her insanity to her parents.

These people fail to understand cultural plasticity and exchanging customs because they were never guided into social norms by proper parenting. This is why they bully, harass, and lie their way into accomplishing their goals; because they never faced consequences for doing so growing up.

Teenagers grow out of being stupid by learning the hard way with mentors that help them understand life lessons. SJWs never grew out of being stupid, because their mentors were any media they could consume to confirm their bases. The SJW movement is indicative of a serious problem with western society, and until we figure that out and fix it, it won't go away.

Who has time to helicopter parent when both parents working full time is necessary to live comfortably? And with marriage rates down and divorce rates up, you're lucky to have a two parent household.

This is a byproduct of a culture of neglect.
