Crashing issue with Besiege (details in text)

For a long while now, on this update and all previous ones (to my memory), I've been having an issue:
After opening and closing the save/load menus several times (regardless of spacing, but not a consistent amount) some or all of the save files begin displaying "No Thumbnail Found." If I subsequently try to load or save, or go to a different area, the game crashes almost entirely without fail.
Has anyone else been having this issue, and if so, do you know what's causing it and/or have a fix?
