What started as a way to pay my respects to a renowned creator soon sucked me into its realm of awesomeness. Even though I had seen the anime (1997) a long time ago and knew what the story was about, still the manga managed to captivate me with its twisted way. After reading it for the first time one can only feel as being branded by its essence.
Best manga Ive ever read and experienced, even unfinished. Truly a masterpiece.
Shame on me for putting it on hold for so long.
It really saddens me that Miura didnt have a chance to see his work finished through, and the anime adaptations didnt do much justice to the manga.
