Please ignore as it is going to be a stupid post. I have read too much about Berghain, silently read all stories here, watched many documentaries and hopefully one day might try to get it. However, today at 4 am, i somehow found myself at Berghain. I was going from a bar to back at my hostel dorm. I got down at the bus stop, I thought i was walking in direction of my dorm but then kept walking and reached outside of Berghain. I felt in awe. Strange. Free. I just stood outside, looked at it. Did not try to get it. Music, that i could hear from outside. Looked at people, getting out of it, happy, tired and in awe that they were there. It felt so euphoric and emotional to me. Strangely, i read an article yesterday, on Mark Fisher, Rave and depression. And how Rave, and electronic music movement started as a critique of capitalist time frame, where Rave continues till morning, not adhering to any time sort, there are no mondays, no work. It is beyond. I felt so happy to be there, even just standing outside. Felt like, i belong there. (Most probably I Would never get it though).
