I'm sure this has been asked in a multitude of ways every now and then but how do you feel about going to events alone? Going to Berghain alone actually feels quite liberating and easy for me however going to smaller, more intimate events at small clubs or bars feels more difficult for me these days as the friends i would often go with have moved away from Berlin, are busy or have fallen out of the scene or started families. Also no one i know is particularly spontaneous to go to such events with some hours notice which i can understand. I'm quite a social person and can find myself quite easily finding myself making new friends. Yet more recently i've become more shy in this regard but get major FOMO and feel like i'm missing out on cool events because that social aspect for me is very important. I also don't want to bother people as not everyone wants some new person to join their group. Any advice? Feel free to write about your own situations.
