Thoughts on the A100 development

Unsure if this has been brought up yet but how do people feel about the preposed continuation of the A100 highway? Essentially it will mean many established clubs, bars and homes (such as Renate, ELSE, About Blank) in the Friedrichhain kiez will have to go all for an outdated road from 20 years ago no one actually wants.
Do people forsee this happening and if so what can we do to stop it. I'm already looking into things and will going to any protests i see about it.
