The concept eluded them
Post Body

I went to a bakery to get a two pastries. When I saw the person starting to put them in a nice box I asked for my items only on the tissue paper since I was going to eat them right away. I've never had a problem at other places but the person at the counter seemed perplexed by this, like it was some strange request. They said everything goes in a box. I told them I didn't need one since I'd likely eat them before I got to my car. Still confused, they said they would put it in a paper bag. I insisted one more time to just give it to me on a napkin or tissue paper but there was a line behind me and I didn't want to be the person holding it up. As I walked out I took out my two items and tossed the bag into the recycling bin, it still feels like a waste though.
