I was flipping through the tv channels and ended up on a channel showing old game shows. The show looked like it was from the late-80s or early 90s and the contestant was a celebrity before becoming famous but I couldn’t figure out where I had seen him. I thought about what shows/movies I may have seen him in for maybe half an hour. I scrolled through the IMDB pages of 90s sitcoms and movies thinking I could spot him. Didn’t find anything and I just let it go. It’s been about a week and all of a sudden the show Nashville pops in my head and I realize the actor on that show is who I saw. I’ve never watched the show but had seen commercials for it. Looked up his name and he was the person from that game show, Charles Esten and the Sale of the Century. It’s such a satisfying feeling to know my brain in working on something in the background even if it does take a while.
