New friends.
Post Body

Finally finding friends who are kind, understanding, compassionate makes me believe in true friendship again. The past two years Iā€™ve focused on making new friends because I decided to cut out most people out of my circle. I have grown up surrounded by ā€œmean girlsā€ and always considered them my friends but as Iā€™ve grown up I slowly realized they were never my friends; theyā€™re consistently competing with you, making you feel insecure, feeding into your toxic relationships. Ive swayed away from that group and have focused on finding new friends. Iā€™ve made a core group lately and yesterday I realized that. We were all going out and one of them was running late, instead of bad mouthing the girl that was running late we all just waited and then offered to pick her up since she couldnā€™t catch an Uber because the app sucks in our area. That small action I found to be so kind and sweet. That wouldā€™ve never flew in my old circle, we wouldā€™ve left bad mouthed the girl. No one competes with anyone, we all support and are helpful to each other when we can. Itā€™s nice.
