Ok i want to clear something up here because i've been seeing a LOT of posts regarding the orishans and cascans and cascans being like an obvious rip off

the director for the reboot clearly states orishans and cascans are different and refers to them like jaguars and panthers

Orishans aren't able to turn water into ice or steam whereas Cascans can

Orishans are molluscs whereas Cascans are armoured humanoids who collect serpent glass which makes up there armour and they're exoskeletons have more color variety unlike Orishans who are just red

Cascans have hydrokenisis shown when Overflow and Undertow can make whip and blades of water, Orishans are shown only to gather water molecules in the air and change the water temperature from their pressurised water vents (which seems much more useful than Water blades but that's my opinion), Cascans so far haven't been shown that level of water manipulation

The Cascan's planet has pirates, i don't know about you but Orishans definitely don't have that (or maybe im forgetting something if i am you can just tell me)

The Cascans have tubes and and water vats as part of their physiology meanwhile Orishans are just armoured mollucs with glowing barnacles

Each species have they're pros and cons and despite looking similar and having somewhat similar abilities they are different fundamentally
