Does your home have A/C?

I'm just curious what percentage of people around here have A/C in their home and what type - window unit or central air?
I'd never really felt the need for one before, but this Summer has been rough. Especially when our house is 80 degrees inside and we can't open the windows due to the smoke.
We're probably past the point of really needing one for this year, but I'll probably be looking at getting something before next Summer.
also curious if anyone has a heat pump and how that works for you
