Hi there people, hope you're all having a nice day.
I've written a few of these in the past, which led to some lovely chats and encounters, but I have yet to find what I'm looking for, it would seem.
To put it simply, I'm a guy with many interests and a fulfilling life, but I do find myself wishing I'd meet a single woman who wants to share some of those interests with me. We'd probably start with some conversations where we see whether we click, as good friends since that generally feels like the first step to me, and eventually hanging out regularly in real life (so living in Belgium or very nearby in Europe would be preferrable, I'm not keen on long distance).
Opinions wise I'm a leftie, moderate in my opinion but probably extreme in the minds of people who love unsustainable growth, licking boots and tolerating intolerance (in other words, morons). Vegetarian, anti-authority, metalhead, and overall a bit of a chill goofball who makes nihilist jokes for a laugh but also does care a lot and is more of an existentialist. I don't smoke but I enjoy a drink, responsibly of course. I don't mind whichever substances you enjoy responsibly yourself, though I don't really like the smell of smoke and especially not in my house.
I guess I'm really just looking for someone to live a carefree life with, support each other, enjoy silly things (life became so much more interesting to me once I realized that as an adult, I can leave childish things behind, such as the desire to be always seen as a grownup. Seriousness can be good, but in moderation). Exchanging dad jokes and memes, going on spontaneous trips to go visit a castle, abbey or forest, building Lego, playing some chill co-op video games or boardgames, baking bread together, stargazing and sipping on whiskey while discussing the meaning of life (or lack thereof).
Also some bigger things that seem slightly more fun with a partner (although they're fun solo as well) such as going to music festivals (I'm probably doing three this year, already got my Graspop tickets) or going on city trips.
Maybe, eventually, living together or at least seeing each other very regulary; and while I don't mind travelling a bit to meet, ultimately I'm quite attached to Belgium, I own a cozy hobbit hole here and have a job that I don't hate. We could live in a cottage in the woods, do gardening together and adopt lots of pets. Or keeping our own spaces is cool too as long as we can see each other often.
As for what I bring to the table: I've been told that I'm a great cook and I'll happily make you some of my favourite veggie recipes such as mushroom pasta or spinach feta puff pastries. I'm patient, caring, cuddly, a good listener. Also a problem-solver at heart, probably better at solving my friend's problems than my own (but I also know to shut up and be a sympathetic ear to someone who just needs to get things off their chest). Open and honest, and I get best along with people who speak their mind and give unambiguous enthusiastic yes and no's. Communication is awesome.
Important to insist that I'm childfree, for now and the forever foreseeable future, and that will not change. I'm also a leftist, and a vegetarian by moral choice (I love animals, I know how the sausage is made, one day I realized those two things were irreconcileable and I went for the ethical path). As for hobbies, I have plenty and I'm curious to find new ones, so it's not necessarily a dealbreaker at all if we don't share any, but probably would make it much easier if we do. Playing some co-op PC game, or discussing music and concerts, or going on a walk together. I'm also curious to learn about yours, I love learning new things.

Chilling at an abbey in my best sunday outfit. (If you reply, I'd be also curious what you look like!)
Looking forwards to chat, preferrably send me a message (chats rarely seem to work and I don't get notifications). Tell me at least a bit about yourself please. "Hi sup" gives me nothing to go on. Tell me about your favourite fruit, about the project you're currently passionate about, where you'd like to travel, your favourite drink or what song is stuck in your head at the moment. If we click, maybe we can have a voice call, or plan a real-life hang out in a safe environment, without any rush of course.
Thanks for reading, and have a fantastic day! :)
