I have a UM2 Interface and used it successfully on an older gaming laptop a couple years ago with near zero latency. I have a newer gaming Pc and trying to use this interface with the same setup as last time. Just better Pc. Im using a Condenser Mic (MXL 770) plugged into the interface and also using a 1/4 to 3.5mm adapter to monitor audio. Using headphones and apple AirPods to monitor audio to test. Both have the exact same amount latency. The latency is there when I am direct monitoring(DM) and also when I am not using DM. I do have the 48v switch on.

I tried Reaper(DAW) but still have latency. I made sure my sound preference(listen to device) was left off. I even updated the driver to what a YouTube video requested to fix this. I tried ASIO4ALL, Reaper, and gives me a delay either I’m using OBS to monitor or DM.

I can’t figure it out and don’t know what to do. I’ve spent 2 days messing with this and nothing is working. Any help is truly appreciated.
