Trying to make a coffer from the American Peasant.
Post Body

Working on my first real project-a coffer, from the American peasant. No power tools, and limited hand tools. How do I properly thickness my 4/4 stock efficiently and accurately? Resaw or hand plane? Funds are too limited to afford a bench, so I'm sitting on my stock. Funds are too limited to get all the tools I want/need. I'm going to make this work one way or another, though. The nicest tool I have is that bridge city plane in the picture, and it was a gift.
