Made a quick and dirty Kumiko jig!
Post Body
I'm about to start making a Japanese style floor lamp, and I realized I needed to make a jig for the kumiko strips. I could've just spent $40, but I figured it'd be a fun side project. I will eventually need to make some more for different angles, but we'll burn that bridge when we get to it. The wedge in the back holds the kumiko strip in place and the wedge in front aligns it. The wedges themselves are made of cypress so it doesnt mar the workpiece. Not the prettiest, but it gets the job done!
