I need a better router bit option

Post Body
I'm having trouble routing these beehive openings consistently, especially since I'm having to make multiple passes on one side, then flip over and go from the other side. It's 1.25 in thick or more (I'm not near the piece to double check) and a 3 foot long piece with 3 - 6"×.5" openings. I know some of it is experience, but I need to be able to speed up the process and keep cleaner lines. Am I looking for a plunge bit or something else?
