I'm currently working on building my brother and sister in law a king size bed frame. The idea is to build it out of four equal sized corner sections that are 40L"x38W"x16T". When you place them together like an algebra graph, each one is labeled quadrants 1-4.
I'm building them out of construction grade lumber, face framed to look prettier. Later down the line I'll add drawers to it for them.
I've constructed three of four sections, and am going to hopefully be ready for staining by Friday. Time will tell how well that goes. I'll probably post an updated picture at that point.
