First ever cabinetry project and first time using a tracksaw or router. Huge amount of YouTube learning (thank you 10 minute workshop 🙏🏻) but very happy with the result!
Cabinets & shelves are built from 18mm plywood. Cabinets are combination of dowels and pocket screws, doors are 18mm rails / stiles and a 6mm panel. Open tops on the cabinets with a big surface of 25mm across the top of all of them once they were screwed to the wall. The shelves are glued into routed housing on the verticals and all fronted with a strip of pine. The cornicing I made up by combining the same skirting / architrave as the rest of the room so it would match and I could make it the perfect height to cover the gap to the ceiling.
Obviously finished now and in use but happy for any feedback to take to future projects!
