Blue Death Feigning Beetles (Question)
Post Body

Hello reddit!

[MAIN QUESTIONS]

  • Is it ideal? If not, what should I add?
  • Can they have about 4 hours of direct sunlight?

| Context |

I'm soon going to get a group (3) death feigning beetles for this desert garden I made. It consists of a coco fiber lower substrate with a sandy top, 2 cacti one cluster that can be used as shade or a hiding spot, a succulent I thought looked nice on the hill, driftwood stick I found at a lake, and a small cave supported by a sandstone made as an extra hiding spot just Incase. The question I had is if it is ideal for them to have about 4-ish hours of direct sunlight since it was originally made for the cacti to be getting some sun. The sand at the moment seems pretty chilly in the hiding spots and the sand in the sun seems almost room temperature but I'm thinking it's because it's white. Its also pretty deep (3rd image) In my eyes it seems ideal, but I would like tips since it's my first time keeping beetles.
