Its my second year beekeeping and need some advice
Post Body

I have only been doing beekeeping for 1 year and this will be my second year. I was talking to my friend who also does beekeeping. He said that ill have to make a split around April to stop them from swarming. The problem is I can only have 3 hives on my property and I have 2 plus 1 mating nuc. So my question is how can I split my bees but also what do I do with them after I split them? If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Also im from NJ dont know if that matters too mych.
