hello!

i make dream-poppy, post-rocky kinda stuff... there's some 80s jingle in the mix, along with some electronic beats. my tunes are mostly mostly melodic, but also, in places, sometimes abstract! i like bands like broadcast, low, galaxie 500, beach house, and tortoise...so - that'll give you and idea of what i'm trying to make! i think!

i've been recording my own stuff for a little while now, but my production still isn't very good. tbh, after i've set my levels and decided on my pannings, i don't really know what i should be doing next! had a bit of an experiment with EQing and compressing some sounds / tracks - but i always seem to make things worse!

i don't really want a super-polished, pristine production, as that's not really the right aesthetic for me (in some places, i deliberately go out of my way to chuck in fuzz, hiss, crackle and noise)... i think i'd just like to be able to make really well recorded / engineered tunes, that feature a just enough nice bits n' pieces of production to seperate out all the different layers...

i'm doing well enough to have had a single released (though it was mastered by someone else), but i think i could definitely do better!

here's a link to the most recent thig i made: https://pelydron.bandcamp.com/track/eirlaw

and here's a link to my single: https://song.link/pelydron

thanks y'all!
