Im ready to buy down pillows from Supreme Quilts and would appreciate opinions from folks who know down pillows generally. I’m looking at these firm pillows:
Edit: received my pillow today. I bought 95% white Polish goose down, standard size (US queen), firm, 800 grams, 750 fill power.
It’s very firm, light and resilient. When I lay on it and get up it springs right back. This compared to my older, cheaper pillows which just go flat and stay that way. They weren’t as good quality, or as firm to begin with, probably duck down, and 8-10 years old. It’s a night and day difference.
The only question is whether it’s too firm — time will tell. I’m planning to buy a second pillow but wanted to try this first and see if I need to make any adjustment.
I appreciate all of those who helped me zero in on a quality company and product.
