Post Bed Bug Infestation Advice/Suggestions?
Post Body

Hey guys!

I am new here and have lurked this Sub Reddit a few times. I decided to make a post and talk about my situation a little bit. I live here in Florida and had been with a bed bug infestation. Me and the family think it came from a mattress my aunt gave me when she moved. The infestation began in my room and moved into my parents bedroom. We had called Terminix to come out to our condo we are renting to take care of the issue. We ended up having them come out and got treated. I ended up getting interceptor traps and mattress covers to take care of the issue.

We ultimately ended up seeing significantly less of them. The unit we are in is carpeted and we keep seeing adults pop up every so often. We keep having the pest control guys come out and we keep getting all clears. I am sure we have fewer numbers, but my mind's not at ease still seeing them. We keep getting told we should vacuum. We definitely try to on the regular. They've even started putting down glue traps to try and catch them. I don't really see any results from that.

Do you guys maybe have any suggestions on what I can do to combat this issue? I do understand they're extremely hard to keep them away. I wasn't sure I should start doing DIY methods to keep them away. I am pretty convinced they're mostly thriving in our carpet. Almost always when I see them, they come out from there. I will see one or two every couple days. When we do vacuum, we don't see any. When we stop, they start popping up. We had recently had them infest some stuffed animals in the other room. I am definitely at my wit's end here!

Any help would appreciated!

Thank you
