Rough Nestwell / Wamsutta Sheets
Post Body

I'm looking to see if someone can help me. A customer, or maybe even an employee. I feel like I am living in the twilight zone at this point. Recently I purchased a set of the new Nestwell sheets from BBB as I saw my usual Wamsutta's were no more. Let me tell you these Nestwell's were ROUGH. Like, legit fine grit sandpaper on my face rough. No I didn't wash them to see if it helped but when over the course of my adult life I've never had to WASH sheets first to get them soft, I felt I shouldn't have had to bother.

Seeing as how I got rid of the box and felt I couldnt return them, it was a horrible loss of $60 or whatever they cost. I then went online and found Wamsutta's still available. I even splurged for the higher end 850 thread counts. They arrived and without a second thought (these are the sheets I've been getting the last 10-12 years after all) I put them on my bed and threw out the box. Finally! I thought. My soft sheets are back.

That was until my first night of sleep with these Wamsutta 850 counts and to my absolute shock, THESE WERE ROUGH TOO! MAYBE JUST AS ROUGH AS THE NESTWELLS!!! Am I missing something here? Has BBB's quality control or concern in general about their bedding gone to hell? I kid you not with both sheets I could not get comfortable with my head on these pillows.

So what in the hell is going on here? Has anyone else noticed this? I guess I'm off to KOHL's today in my never ending journey to find soft sheets again.
