As I am from Finland the home of saunas and we grow up in the sauna and swimming in the cold sea or lakes here, I was wondering how many of you also uses the sauna? Not only the cold? We combine the two here π
Well we actually have no protocol here π Just do what feels good, but 20 minutes would kill me as we have the sauna at 220. And we throw water at the stones to get the hot steam burn π
180 is a good temperature, that you can enjoy and still get really hot. Tomorrow I travel to my cottage out on a island and there I can only get the sauna to 180. So will be a lot of sauna and cold sea bathing for the rest of the week π
