Hi all,

After being on 50 mg sertraline for ~3 weeks, I noticed that my ability to climax completely disappeared. My libido remained fully intact, but the sensations in my clitoris were completely dulled and I couldn’t get over the edge no matter how long I spent or what I tried. I’m aware of the sexual side effects of SSRIs, so at my last appointment with my psychiatrist I brought up my concerns and was prescribed Wellbutrin.

However, it’s been 6 weeks since my appointment and I’m still not seeing any improvement in my ability to climax. I’ve also tried various things that I’ve seen online (e.g. supplements), but still no luck. I also have a Mirena IUD, which may also be contributing to my issues. Overall, I still have the same symptoms with dulled internal and external sensation. While I can make progress towards climaxing if I try hard enough, it inevitably fizzles out every time. My libido is normal, so I’m a little desperate for help — does anyone from a similar situation have any advice/recommendations? Thank you!
