Do people care about the outer product packaging?
Post Body

I was watching a youtube video for a glossier foundation review, and influencer said during the video β€œI like the packaging of the product, its nice but the box is a bit boring.”

Don’t people just toss the outer packaging in seconds?

(Hopefully recycle it if it is recyclable.)

Do people actually care about the outer packaging of a product? If so, why?

Comments

I don't care about the box the product comes in, but I do care about product packaging itself, both aesthetically and functionally. I'm frequently willing to throw a little more money at an equivalent product with heavier, prettier packaging.

But the box it comes in? No. Send it to me in an empty toilet paper tube for all I care.
