I'm playing my first real gig of about 40 people (I've had a few tiny house parties of like 8 people. All friends) at a friend's birthday party. Most of the action will be outside and not sure what speakers to get. Their backyard isn't super big, but definitely need an upgrade to not look like a dummy. I have been using logitech z623 speakers at home, and have been using a bluetooth soundcore motion boom plus for practicing elsewhere. I think I'd like a set of active speakers with decent bass/low end. Budget is around $500 if possible. And I use a ddj 400 (ddj 1000 won't arrive in time), so aux or rca inputs would be prefered I think. Plan to play a mixture of a lot of genres.
