I've been DJing for about 5 months. I practice every day for at least 30 minutes, if not significantly more. My progression has been really solid and I'm genuinely happy with how far I have come. I record every single one of my mixes and they are never pre-planned. In the last 2ish weeks I've thrown down 3 of the best mixes I've done.
Fast forward to this week - every day this week, NOTHING feels right. My transitions, my song selection, my blending, my effects, everything is off. It's like I can't feel the music. Admittedly, my expectations have definitely risen, but I don't feel that I'm seeking unattainable goals, and I don't feel that's my issue currently. I would be thrilled if I could just throw together 30 decent minutes without feeling like I should just stop recording 8 minutes in.
Feel like maybe I should take a couple days off, but also feel like maybe I just need to suck it up and work through it.
What do you do if/when this happens to you?
Beginner here too. Agree with the comments about taking a few days off.
Another thing I do is focus on something else, but related. If the mixes are stale, jump into the DAW for a while and focus on production work. If that's not doing it fire up the synth and dork around with some sound design.
TBH it's usually the deeper learning stuff I get burned out on, then I'll take a "break" and pull out the mixer and just fuck around and try all kinds of crazy shit. I've come up with some of my coolest stuff that way.

Facts about listening to new music. Sometimes I'll even go digging in completely different genres that I'm mixing in. I've always come away from that with more knowledge and fresh perspective.
