Which entry level controller

Im looking for my first controller and im stuck between the impulse 500 or flx4. After researching I’d rather use rekordbox so I won’t have to change as I get better however I much prefer the impulse as it is bigger and has better quality. Should I get the pioneer due to the pioneer/rekordbox ecosystem or shall I go for the impulse due to the better decks but worse software?
