Music production is just a hobby for me, a new hobby as well. I’m not good, but I have fun in the process. I’d like to upgrade my turn table as I currently have a belt driven lp60. Now I was looking into the lp120 and lp140 because I love the layout/price range and it seems to fit my needs. Hears my question though, would either of these be suitable for a beginner trying to learn the art of scratching and adding that to my beats? I understand the lp140 has more torque so definitely the better option. Is the performance difference between the two worth the price difference? Additionally, if anyone has any turntables in their mind that are similar in terms of features feel free to share. Much love and appreciate any feedback!
