How do I get gigs when Iām not a fan of social media?

Iām a 27 year lady and recently decided to get more serious about DJing and want to get out and book some public events but I am not super big on having social media. Personally I think social media can contribute to messing up your perception of the world and yourself. But I understand how important it is for getting exposure. Does anyone have any tips on how to work around these feelings?
