I felt the sweat drip down my back as the jungles heat sweltered. My armor a mix of monster hides and camouflage helping me stay hidden in the underbrush as life flittered around me. It should’ve been a peaceful scene as insects and small animals scurried about, but I didn’t let my guard drop for even a moment.

Slowly it started to move awakening from its slumber. The nearby trees shook as large scaled feet found their footing. The animals fleeing back to safety as the large monster let out a mix of growl and roar. Shivers running down my spine as I gripped the dual blades in my hands.

The great Jagras hadn’t noticed me just yet. Priming myself I my feet sink into the muddy floor for grip. Muscles tensing for a jump as I swallowed controlling my nerves. With a shout and surge of energy I sprung from my hiding place. Blades pointed at the monster ready to catch it by surprise…. Hopefully… ~~~~~
