Hey guys, i’ve always had a good relationship with my bearded dragon. He is about 6 months old now. He has never flared his beard at me or showed any signs of anger towards me until this morning. I usually have his lights from 8 am to 8 pm and around 7pm last night i noticed he was already hiding to go to sleep. And i turned on his lights at 8-am (like always) but he didn’t get up right away. Around 9:30 i checked on him and he was still in bed so i moved his little blanket to check on him and he ran away so i was gonna give him a little pet on his back and he flared up his beard and opened his mouth at me. Totally caught me by surprise so i left him alone for about 20 minutes came back and he was still acting like that towards me. i got little treats for him and put them in my hand and just waited for him to eat them off my hand which he did. but now he is basking and his beard is still all black. Did i do anything wrong? and is there any tips y’all have so i can better my relationship between me and him?
