Plans for a future addition to the family.
Post Body

so some time ago I Randomly woke up one morning with the sudden urge to raise a bearded Dragon...

no one in my family has had any reptiles in the past so I don't really have any experience with them. but I want to make sure I do my research before I decide to pick one up.

where I'm currently living it would be impossible to get one anyways right now so I have plenty of time to plan for the future. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for an ideal set up for bearded dragons 1 or 2 depending on what is best for the Dragon. I bought a book on Dragons that said a single bearded dragon can become socially deprived and it suggested an enclosure of two females or one male and one female however I was reading on this subreddit that it's better to only have one dragon well I guess that's my first question.

I should mention that I live in Canada and I can get pretty cold up here so I was wondering if temperature wise it was even a good idea to get a dragon or if it would be too cold for him at night/winter. I want to make sure that his needs are provided for as best as possible.

since I have such a long time before getting a dragon is even possible I have plenty of time to save up so money isn't really an issue so feel free to let me know what you guys think and this will probably be an ongoing thread as I continue my education on these adorable creatures.

(random curiosity question do females lay eggs if no male is present periodically? And if so what do you do with eggs? ... )
