I have a 5 month old rescue beardie who just got diagnosed with pinworms and coccidia. Her vet prescribed sulfa trimeth solution, which I believe is the same as Sulfatrim, to be given once a day for 21 days.
Is this a normal dosage? Also, the vet said this was to treat coccidia and they weren’t planning to treat the pinworms. Is that normal?
I’ve washed everything she’s touched either in the washer on hot or I’ve sprayed it with ZooMed WipeOut. I plan on getting a steamer. Is there any other tips in regards to cleaning? I have other lizards so I’m nervous about them catching it.
Any other tips and tricks are totally appreciated too! TIA
