Hi I’m james and this is Artemis. He is a bit of a poser! I got him today and he seems happy enough but I have some questions I was hoping to ask some experienced keepers!

I read that your suppose to let him have as many locusts as he can in a 10 minute period, he ate 17 is this to many to give him twice a day? It seems like a lot for a little lizard!

He has got salad and ate a little bit before locusts but hasn’t since (probably full of locusts) is this right? I was going to replace it every 12 hours when I feed him, does that sound right?

Are regular vet check ups a thing?

The woman in the shop was kind of helpful but they were busy and I didn’t want to take all of there time up!
